We’ve all been through a lot these past few weeks thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact it has had on our families, our businesses, our communities, and our way of life.
As a process server, you can’t continue life as usual, but how should you revise your strategies and communicate with your clients during this time? How can you seek financial relief for your business and for your family? How do you preserve your business and find opportunities to earn additional income if work as slowed down?
Over at ServeNow, we’ve put together some resources that we hope will answer questions you might have and also help your business maintain continuity while working remotely:
- COVID-19 Impacts on the Process Serving Industry
- Process Server’s Business Continuity and Remote Work Guide During the Pandemic
- How to Protect your Process Serving Business from COVID-19
In addition, at the bottom of this post you will find a business continuity plan template, which you can edit and send to your clients so that they know you’re open for business, but also using cloud-based technology and implementing policies to keep your employees, your clients, and the people you’re serving safe.
And if you want to export your clients and contacts from ServeManager for mass emailing, we have a blog post that will walk you through that process.
As our co-founder and CTO Trent Carlyle mentioned in an email last week, this global crisis will pass. Saying there's a silver lining is a step too far, but we are very optimistic about the additional work this will bring our industry. In the meantime, please let us know if there are other opportunities for us to help.
Lastly, if you have additional resources or information to share, head over to our Facebook Group for Process Servers to join the conversation, or feel free to contact us.
Dear {client},
Together, we are facing a truly unprecedented situation. The global coronavirus pandemic is affecting all of our families, businesses, communities, and way of life.
During this time, I want to let you know that our business was built to handle moments like this, and we are still serving process. That said, following the social distancing guidelines is a top priority for us.
To that end, we have implemented policies and procedures to keep our employees, our clients, and the people we’re serving safe. In addition, our business uses technology that allows us to remotely collaborate and communicate with servers and clients.
So please let us know if there are other opportunities for us to help your business amid the crisis.
We're here for you,
